(Irvine, CA) Today, Igloo announced it has opened its new West Coast satellite office in Irvine, California, expanding its footprint beyond the company headquarters in Katy, Texas. Housing the majority of Igloo’s creative, marketing, e-commerce and new product development staff, the new 10,000-square-foot office hosts 35 employees and will play an integral role in the company’s future.
“It’s an exciting time for Igloo as we begin a new chapter with our West Coast office,” stated Brian Garofalow, Chief Marketing Officer at Igloo. “We are actively investing in our brand-building capabilities, beginning with a talented staff coming from some of the best lifestyle brands in the outdoor and action sports industries. The deep talent pool in the Orange County area was a significant factor in planting roots here.”
The building underwent an 8-month renovation designed by Benjamin Soto, VP of Creative Services at Igloo. The office features open workspaces for each team, three conference rooms, seven private offices, a showroom, product development workshop, content studio and warehouse space. The exposed tall ceilings and large windows throughout the perimeter provide team members with open space, views to the outside and lots of natural lighting. Throughout the interior, Igloo used a clean black-and-white color scheme to support its legacy branding while incorporating natural materials, like unstained wood, raw metal and concrete. Thousands of local commuters can see the brand signage and Igloo Playmate Bus every day as they pass by the 405/55 freeway interchange.
Represented by Brett Lessman of Savills, Igloo leased the 18241 W. McDurmott space from Olen Properties.
